ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
State Senate Candidate Gia Arnold has called a press conference for 11 a.m.on the steps of North Tonawanda City Hall, 216 Payne Ave., to discuss the replacement of State Sen. George Maziarz after his announcement on Sunday that he would not accept the nomination of his petitions.
Arnold says she will "be calling to light the lack of opportunity for her to receive Conservative and Republican lines despite receiving petition signatures and the endorsement of the Orleans Conservative Party and the lack of accountability of party chairman, State Senator George Maziarz, and seat hopeful Robert Ortt — all of which have been unavailable in light of the news."
Sources have said that Ortt would be named today in Maziarz' place to run for the Republican and Conservative lines for the 62nd District seat.
Arnold will also be doing a similar press conference at 2 p.m. on the steps of the Orleans County Courthouse, 3 S. Main St., Albion.
10:20 a.m. * Post has been edited to correct address for North Tonawanda City Hall.

I'm gonna vote for her...at least she is "new blood" and not yet corrupted, even though the "boys" on the hill WILL chew her up & spit her out.
