If you like cheese with your wine, the upcoming Wine and Cheese weekend along the Niagara Wine Trail is just what you're looking for.
The three-day event, will feature Yancey’s Fancy NYS Artisan cheese at each winery paired with a wine during Father’s Day weekend, June 13-15. The wineries are open noon til 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, and noon til 5 p.m. Sunday.
The cheeses at each winery are:
Tickets for the event are $30 in advance or $35 on the day of the tour. They're valid for all three days of the event and include a tasting of 3 wines and cheese sample at each winery, in addition to a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery. They can be purchased on the Niagara Wine Trail website until June 12 at 9 p.m. or at the wineries the day of the tour.

- Chateau Niagara Winery – Bergonost (paired with Semi-Dry Riesling)
- Victorianbourg Wine Estate – Champagne Cheddar
- Flight of Five Winery – Maple with Bacon Cheddar
- BlackBird Cider Works – Roasted Garlic Cheddar
- Schwenk Wine Cellars – Smoked Gouda with Bacon
- Freedom Run Winery – XXX Sharp Cheddar - White
- Leonard Oakes Estate Winery – Chipotle Cheddar
- Black Willow Winery – XXX Sharp Cheddar - Yellow
- Schulze Vineyards – Double Cream Cheddar pair with Siegfried (dry palette) Riesling (semi dry), and Catawba (sweet)
- Eveningside Vineyards – Peppadew Cheddar (paired with Riesling)
- Vizcarra Vineyards – Steakhouse Onion Cheddar
- Honeymoon Trail Winery – Strawberry Chardonnay Cheddar
- Niagara Landing – Horseradish & Smoked Bacon Cheddar
- Arrowhead Spring Vineyards – Natural Smoked Applewood Double Cream Cheddar
