LPD showed up in force to arrest the men.
Six people were arrested by Lockport police this morning and charged with burglary and assault in connection with a fight that occurred Tuesday.

According to the reports filed by LPD, a Town of Lockport man was injured in the ruckus and transported to ENH-Lockport but refused treatment and refused to file a statement.

"Patrol interviewed all parties involved with hardly any cooperation," according to the reports. "Nobody involved in the fight wished to sign paperwork or pursue charges."

This morning, however, the injured party and another man went to the police station to give their account of what happened, resulting in charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree assault being levied against the following people:
  • Heston F. McClain, 28, 176 Park Ave., Upper
  • Elliott R. McClain, 34, 6289 Robinson Road, Apt. 3
  • Jonathan M. McClain, 41, 7132 Ridgewood Dr.
  • Michael D. Enzinna, 34, 18 Harrison Ave.
  • Antonius T. Melton, 28, 55 Elmwood Ave., Apt. 1
  • Joseph A. Smith, 24, 165 Pine St., Apt. 1
The accused are scheduled for Lockport City Court on Monday morning.
