NEWFANE — A Newfane man was charged early this morning with driving while intoxicated on Charlotteville Road.
Robert J. Zehler, 26, 6145 Tachi Dr., was seen by Niagara County Sheriff's deputies crossing over the yellow line three times while westbound on Charlotteville Road around 12:30 a.m., according to the NCSO report filed.
When he was stopped, Zehler was determined to be intoxicated and charged with DWI and failure to keep right. He was transported to Niagara County Jail and found to have a BAC of .15 percent. Bail was set at $250 and a Tuesday court date was set for the Newfane Town Court.
