TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Having reported damage to its golf carts on at least three occasions in the past two weeks, Oak Run Golf Club filed a complaint with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Wednesday of one being stolen.
According to the police report, when the owner of the golf club arrived around 6 a.m., he noticed that a steel cable connecting the golf carts was cut and a green 2013 Yamaha gas engine golf cart was missing.
The complainant told patrol that the $4,500 golf cart must have been taken between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The case was forwarded to the criminal investigation bureau.
