ENP STAFF REPORTS

WRIGHTS CORNERS — A Ridge Road resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that he was missing 30 pills from a prescription he had filled on April 25.
The man told patrol Monday morning that his prescription called for 120 tablets of Oxycodone but when he checked it on April 29, there were only 90 pills. The man said he hadn't taken any and concluded that 30 pills were stolen or the prescription was not filled correctly. When he called the Rite Aid pharmacy he had it filled it, they assured him it was properly filled.
The complainant insists that the medication couldn't have been stolen from him because it was stored in a locked box within a locked safe that only he had the key to. Furthermore, he couldn't identify any potential suspects.
NCSO considers the case closed pending the discovery of suspects, witnesses, or other evidence.
