ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Fernwood Drive resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Monday that her home had been broken into three times in the last week.
The woman said that on April 28, she noticed that $300 had been stolen from a hidden lock box in her bedroom. The following day, she noticed that her Kindle Fire — which had been there on the 28th — was missing from the same front bedroom. Finally, on Monday, her laptop computer , which she had used on Sunday, went missing.
The woman told patrol that she had noticed damage to her door frame. The NCSO report states that it appears the door had been pried open.
Periodic checks of the area were requested. The case is being forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
