A Ridge Road couple told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies early this morning that five juveniles may have tried to gain access to their home.
According to a report filed with NCSO, at approximately 2:15 a.m., the couple was woken up by noises outside and observed five juveniles outside their residence, crossing back and fourth across Ridge Road.
One of the complainants told patrol she heard the locked screen door on the porch located on the east side of the residence being shaken. Her husband went down stairs and the five juveniles took off on foot east along the north side of Ridge Road.
The report said it appeared the window on the porch was partially pushed in, but there was no entry made into the porch or residence. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
Four of the juveniles were reported to be wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and one of the juveniles was wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt. Patrol checked the area with negative results.
