A Rounds Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday someone smashed the rear window of her vehicle.
The woman said that it was shattered with a small square steel plate, causing $400 in damage.
The woman said neither she or her husband have had any issues with neighbors or friends and was unsure who would be responsible for the damage.
Patrol placed what appeared to be a small 1/2" steel square plate into a evidence bag and secured it in an evidence locker for latent fingerprint processing.
Investigation closed pending new information.
