A Town of Lockport woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that sometime between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon an unknown person attempted to enter her home.
The Royal Parkway resident told patrol that when she returned home at 12:30 p.m. Friday, some parts of the screen man door on the east side of her attached garage were on the ground and there were pry marks on the door frame of the screen door.
The complainant told police that all doors and windows to her home were locked and that the unknown person only appeared to attempt entry through the east side garage man door, but did not gain access.
The cost of damage to the screen door is approximately $100. The investigation is closed pending new information.
