Rosemary Bernard

Rosemary Bernard is the winner of the 9th annual "Key to the Locks" award, the Erie Canal Discovery Center announced this morning.

Bernard, a librarian at the Royalton-Hartland Community Library in Middleport, will be honored at an award ceremony at 11 a.m. May 10 at the Discovery Center. The award and event are with the participation of the Niagara County Historian's Office.

Previous award winners include Becky Burns, Jeffrey Degnan, David Kinyon, Carol Schmelz, Clint Starke, former Mayor Mike Tucker, Joe Whalen and Jane Whitmore.
