The National Weather Service issued a "hazardous weather outlook" for midweek, stating that a low pressure system "may produce a significant late season snowfall for portions of the Ohio Valley and northeast. There is a possibility it may impact our region Wednesday and Wednesday night."

Today's forecast is much more pleasant, though, with a potential for scattered flurries and a high in the mid-30s before dropping into the 20s overnight.

Sunday offers highs in the upper 20s and lows in the lower 20s. Monday climbs back to the upper 30s with a low of around 30 and a chance of snow. Tuesday will also be in the upper 30s with a low of around 20 and a chance of snow. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a high in the upper 20s and a low of 10 to 15. Thursday brings highs in the lower 20s and a low of 10 to 15.
