A Porter Parkway man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies early this morning that while he was sleeping in his bedroom, an unknown individual shattered his bedroom window.
The complainant told police that after the window was broken, he heard the sound of foot steps running away from the immediate area outside of his bedroom window and saw the tail lights of an unknown type of vehicle leaving the area eastbound on East Avenue.
The man told deputies that he believed his former roommate may be responsible for the damage because he owes her $90. Patrol attempted to contact her with negative results.
The cost of damage to the window was estimated to be approximately $150.
