The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for today and tonight due to some potential flooding in the area.

According to the weather service, "warmer temperatures will bring more snowmelt to the region today. Some light rain is also expected. The combination of melting snow and light rain with warmer temperatures may allow river and creek ice to move ... raising the risk of ice jams and associated flooding."

Today's high is projected at 51 degrees with a potential for rain. Overnight is expected to drop to 33 degrees with a 100 percent chance of precipitation. Thursday offers a high of 37 and a low of 25 with a 70 percent chance of precipitation and heavy wind gusts of up to 45 mph. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 39 and a low of 30.

Saturday forecasts a high of 39 with a low of 20 and precipitation likely. Sunday's high is only projected as 24 degrees with a low of 8. Monday will be similarly cold with a high of 24 and a low of 17.
