Richard J. Tomaino
Following a one-and-a-half-month investigation, New York State Police arrested a 26-year-old Lockport man today and charged him with criminal impersonation and falsifying business records.

According to a report by state police, Richard J. Tomaino - who also lists a North Tonawanda address - used his brother's identification and presented an original bail receipt to the Town of Royalton Court in order to obtain bail money posted by his brother.

New York State Police in Lockport investigated the incident and determined that the brother was incarcerated at the time when the defendant obtained the bail money fraudulently.

Bail was set by a Town of Lockport Judge at $1,000.00 cash/$5,000.00 property bond. Tomaino is currently in the Niagara County Jail and scheduled to appear in Royalton Town Court on Tuesday.
