"Snow and sleet accumulations are currently expected to remain under an inch with little if any ice accumulations expected with the freezing rain," the weather service noted. "Additionally, the changeover to rain should quickly erase any accumulation of frozen precipitation."

Today's high is expected to be near 40 with an overnight low of 30. Saturday will bring a likely mix of rain and snow with a high of 38 and a low of about 19. Sunday offers a chance of snow with a high of 23 and a low of 14.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 25 and a low of 18. Tuesday offers a high of 33 and a low of 20 with a 40 percent chance of precipitation. Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high of around 30 and a low of 21.
