An Old Saunders Settlement Road resident reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday that someone had stolen wood and scrap metal from his residence.
According to the complainant, about $100 worth of firewood and $50 worth of scrap metal was stolen sometime between Thursday evening and Monday night.
Patrol interviewed workers at Lock City Metals, but they state they haven't had any metals matching that description turned in. NCSO will check some other area scrap yards.
