A Town of Lockport man was arrested Saturday night after a Crestwood Court home was broken into.
Allen J. Tomaino, 26, of Lincoln Avenue in the Town of Lockport was arrested by Niagara County Sheriff's deputies and charged with 2nd-degree burglary, 3rd-degree criminal mischief, and 2nd degree harassment after deputies responded to a burglary in progress.
According to the NCSO report, the door frame and door jam of the residence was damaged and the house appeared to be "ransacked." The owner stated that the cupboards were all opened and that the cable box was disconnected, however, nothing was missing from the residence. In Tomaino's possession, however, were three Playstation 3 consoles.
Tomaino was arraigned by Town of Lockport Judge Justice Leonard Tilney and was taken to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $5000 bail. He is set to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
