All four public school districts in East Niagara - Lockport City School District, Newfane Central School District, Barker Central School District and Royalton-Hartland Central School District - are closed on Tuesday due to the weather, as is DeSales Catholic School. Additionally, Wilson, Starpoint and Medina school districts are also closed Tuesday.

A public forum to discuss the state's Common Core standards that had been scheduled for 6 p.m. at Niagara County Community College was been postponed due to the weather, according to state Sen. George Maziarz.

The senator announced on his Facebook page this morning that the forum would be rescheduled.

• The Lockport Public Library is closing at 6:30 p.m.
• Lockport Woodworkers meeting is canceled.
• Mar-Jon School of Beauty is closed Tuesday.
• Meals on Wheels canceled for Tuesday.
• Newfane Central Schools are closed Tuesday.
• Niagara County Headstart locations are closed Tuesday.
• Terry's Corners Fire Hall BINGO.
• Palace Theatre closed for the evening. 7 p.m. movie canceled. 
• Royalton-Hartland Schools are closed Tuesday.
• Rural Niagara Transportation is closed Tuesday.
• Salvation Army and Sister Mary Loretto's Soup Kitchen is closed Tuesday.
• Town of Hartland garbage and recycling collection for Tuesday is canceled. There will be a one-time collection this Saturday.
• Town of Lockport garbage pickup is postponed until Saturday.
