It's winter once again in East Niagara as the National Weather Service forecasts temperatures more in line with daily averages for mid-January.
Today's 31-degree high and 21-degree low are likely to be accompanied by clear skies. Thursday's high is forecast for 31 and the low is projected to be 26 with clear skies turning to snow Thursday evening or night. Friday brings a chance of more snow with a high of 34 and a low of 21.
The temperatures will dip slightly over the weekend with daytime highs of 26 Saturday and 27 Sunday. Monday when the kids are off school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day looks to be a good day for sledding with a high near 29 and a slight chance of snow.
