Niagara County Sheriff's deputies charged an Appleton man with third-degree burglary and attempted petit larceny for an incident at Cafora's Pizza in Newfane on Tuesday.

According to the report, Aaron S. Hill, 46, of Lake Road in Appleton, was found by restaurant employees in the outdoor storage shed, "rifling through the frozen food."

Hill told police, "I know I was in the wrong, if your going to arrest me for trespassing, just do it. I was just trying to get warm in there."

Hill was arraigned in Newfane Town Court, where he is slated to return on Monday.
