Rain mixed with freezing rain will continue to fall on East Niagara throughout the night, resulting in a thin layer of ice on area roads - and everything else.

High winds gusting up to 60 mph could lead to more downed branches and power lines by morning. Temperatures are expected to fall into the low- to mid-20s.

Monday calls for mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. It will remain very windy and colder with early morning highs in the upper 20s before temperatures fall to between 10 and 15 inland and to between 15 and 20 along the Lake Ontario shore. Winds are expected to be in the 30 to 40 mph range with gusts up to 60 mph again.

Monday night forecasts a chance of snow showers with lows of zero to 5 degrees. Wind chills will be as low as 30 below with 20 to 30 mph winds and gusts of up to 45 mph.
