Early Tuesday morning, patrol was called to the Niagara County Jail, 5526 Niagara St. Extension to investigate an incident of contraband in the mail.
According to the report, a piece of mail had what were believed to be two suboxone film strips attached to the inside seal of the envelope. The return address on the mail was in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Hallmark card inside the envelope had a hand written message with what appeared to say "be good" with an illegible signature.
Patrol secured the evidence and submitted a laboratory request form for analysis of the suspected suboxone film strips.
