A Lake Avenue man reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Sunday that someone has stolen his truck from his driveway overnight. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office responded with worth news; someone crashed it overnight.
According to the report, the Town of Lockport man stated that he had last operated his 2010 Dodge Ram at about 4 p.m. Saturday. He also told NCSO that he is certain his truck was still there at 8 p.m. Saturday. The complainant's son said he thought the vehicle was still there at 1 a.m. Sunday when he returned home from working.
After speaking with Niagara County Sheriff's dispatch, patrol was informed that the vehicle was involved in a property damage accident overnight and is currently on hold at Number 1 Towing. The investigation continues.
