Lockport's Youth and Recreation Department claims to have a direct connection with Santa Claus himself. And they say they can have the jolly old elf call your kids so they can tell Santa exactly what it is they want for Christmas.

According to a flyer they posted on their Facebook page, Santa will be "placing person-to-person telephone calls to 'good little boys and girls' between the ages of three and seven, all the way from the North Pole!"

The calls will be made Dec. 16, 17, and 18 between 5 and 8 p.m.

This is a joint venture between the City of Lockport and the Lockport Town Recreation Commission.

There is a coupon on the Facebook post, which explains all the details of how to go about getting Santa to call your kids. Registration deadline is Dec. 13.
