'Tis the season for giving. And the season for helping. And once again the Niagara County Deputy Sheriff's Association is getting in on the act.

They're looking for needy families who could use some help this holiday season. They're looking to help with gifts, food, or both.

They ask that anyone with suggestions send a message via their Facebook or call their office.

Please include the name of the family and a contact number.

"We will begin our shopping next week," they announced via a Facebook post.

Niagara County needy families will receive first priority.
