A parade, craft show, living nativity and basket auction are all on tap for Newfane on Friday.
The big event is the annual Holiday Light Up and Parade at 5:30 p.m. when Santa Claus himself will arrive in a horse-drawn wagon before setting up shop in the Main Street gazebo for hot chocolate, cider and cookies with the kids.
The Newfane United Methodist Church will offer a Candy Cane Craft Show at the church cafe from 4-8 p.m. Aside from the crafts, there will be a bake sale.
From 5-7 p.m., a basket auction will be held at First Baptist Church with proceeds going to Christmas toys for needy children.
Grace Bible Church offers a Living Nativity from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Living Nativity will also be held on Sunday, Dec. 13 and Dec. 15.
"While-you-wait activities include Christmas music, coffee, hot cocoa & cookies, and the kid's corner with crafts," according to the Grace Bible Church website.
