Today's forecast looks great with highs in the 60s in East Niagara. But you'd better enjoy it while you can.
We've hit today's high already and will gradually drop into the low 30s overnight. The National Weather Service calls for a 30 percent chance of rain later transforming into snow as the temperatures dip.
Friday offers a high in the mid-30s and a low in the lower 20s with a 20 to 30 percent chance of snow. Saturday's high will be in the upper 20s and lows in the teens with possible snow in the morning and afternoon and a likelihood of clear skies at night.
Jim Mitchell of the National Weather Service said Wednesday that the pleasant weather has been due to a low pressure system to the west. But as that moves our way, we're returning to more seasonal temperatures.
